I'm around 8 weeks pregnant. So far,I've been to three different hospitals plus my OB for vomiting. I've been given fluids and medicine to help,it apparently didn't help and the medicines make it worse for some reason. I've been vomiting up small amounts of blood and my stomach will tighten up to the point that I can not move. My stomach feels like its on fire and being stabbed at the same time and my lower back cramps up. I also get the stabbing pains when I cough/sneeze,but I figured that was normal since I did it with my other two pregnancies. I started going into premature labor at 28 weeks with both babies. ( My first was stopped twice,my second was delivered at 29 weeks).I've called my OB,but he either doesn't return my calls or tells me to just keep me next appointment (tomorrow).
Any advice on how to either stop this or control it? I feel as if the OB is just brushing it off.
If you are vomiting blood... you need to go to the ER... Why is your OB just brushing that off!? O.o
If I go to the hospital where my OB delivers at,I have to be seen by an ER doctor and they will not call my OB (went through that about 2 weeks ago),the ER DR did nothing for me and I ended up going to a different ER the next night. That ER treated me with fluids and medicine, but my OBs office got mad because I went somewhere else. My OB spends about 5 minutes or less in a room with a patient and leaves. I'm considering just finding someone else to go to.
Quoting AGB071013:" If I go to the hospital where my OB delivers at,I have to be seen by an ER doctor and they will not call ... [snip!] ... My OB spends about 5 minutes or less in a room with a patient and leaves. I'm considering just finding someone else to go to."
smh do we have the same OB?? Heck, mine don't even spend a minute in the room smh... I swear, ER Doctor's these days are just flat out ignorant. -_- I don't see why they basically brush off the potentially dangerous things; but treat the little things like they are gonna kill you. O.o
