Ok so I am 39 weeks today with my 2nd baby. I am being induced in 2 days. as of Wednesday I am 4 cm, 75% thinned out, and -2 station. Wednesday I had contractions all day ranging from 6 to 10 minutes apart but all irregular (I didn't even know I was having them until the dr said I was lol). Thursday and Friday I only had like 1 contraction an hour...if that. The dr is shocked I haven't gone into labor yet. I lost my mucous plug a week ago and just had a little blood in it. Sorry tmi. Well tonight when I went pee I noticed some bright red blood on the toilet paper. It wasn't much but enough to notice. Now every time I wipe there is a little bit there. He has become fairly active since then (30 min ago) and I think I am having a couple contractions but I can't tell for sure (I am plus size so my tummy doesn't get very hard when I have one). I assume the blood is from the sac of waters starting to separate or from me starting to dilate more but idk. I feel fine (actually I feel better than I have in 9 months!!!!). I did do a lot of cleaning around the house today so idk if I just over did it or what. My question is do you think this could be a sign that labor is near. I want to go naturally before Monday so I don't have to be induced (terrified of induction) if possible.
I would call L&D and ask if you should be seen because of the blood. If it wasn't mucousy I'm going to guess they will tell you to go in.

I always had blood after my dr checked me. So that sounds like what is going on but if you are concerned you can always go get checked out. Call your dr with any questions. Did you get your membranes stripped? That will for sure make you bleed or at least it usually does. As long as your baby is active I wouldn't worry but it's better safe then sorry so I would always recommend getting checked.
I bled like that while I was in labor with ds... I'd go on n get checked tho to be safe. Good luck mommy!!!
