I was on Cipralex for almost a year...but it made me gain 30lbs annnnd countin
:(
so my doctor has switched me to Wellbutrin, but she said that it can make you kind of "hyper" and anxious in the beginning.

Has anyone experienced this? and can sort of elaborate on that? Or any other side effects?
My cipralex seemed to be working decently for my depression, so I'm hoping switching won't mess me up/

Thanks!

Oh ok great, I was just worried because I'm still in school full time until May so didn't want to be all wacky lol
Thanks! & that is the hope for me to that I'll lose some of the weight I gained on Cipralex.
Thanks for the info :)
Did you get any of the dry mouth symptoms? They said I would for Cipralex as well but I didn't ..so hoping for this one too.

nope. I didnt get any of the symptoms. Good luck hope it works for you!
If it make you feel anybetter. I weighed 200 when i started it and at the end of the first year. i was down to 140. (of course i ate right and walked my bum off) and after i got pregnant i only gained. 6 pounds (which my dr said was great.) but its also used to help aid in weight loss. and quitting smoking.
