Sometimes, like right now, I wonder what would happen if I went off all my meds

Off the psych meds, off the digestive meds, off the chrons meds, off the neuro meds....

If I just let my body get back to homeostasis, what would it be like? Would I still have all these 'issues'? Or would they be gone?

Sadly, it's not a risk I can take :( I hate being a slave to the drug companies

I don't know what meds you're taking but I'm a psych nurse and this is prob the number one reason people get admitted...they try to get off their meds..not saying you won't be able to do that, I don't know your history but discuss it with your doctor, evaluate the risk/benefits of getting off them, some of them, or maybe even just decreasing them but do it under his care if that's a plan yall decide to do..I understand your frustrations though but everybody needs some help sometimes, whether through meds, therapy, advice, a helping hand...youre doing the best that you can!

Thanks. I know better than to go off my meds. I would never do it, unless I was under the direction of my psychiatrist and psychologist.

I just wonder what it would be like to be pill free.
