Is it possible to get pregnant if at the beginning of sex you are unprotected but stop and put a condom on well before he ejaculates? I'm talking like 2 minutes of unprotected then xx minutes of protected.

Hubby and i have really missed the bare feeling so we've been doing this, but I'm not ready for another baby so I'm starting to get paranoid. I tried researching and getting very mixed results on whether precum even contains sperm.

Thanks :)

I believe it does. Its rare, but it could happen.

Pre-ejaculate can contain sperm. However, most of the time it's clear which indicates there are no sperm present. If it's white or creamy, it contains sperm.

Precum can contain sperm if he's ejaculated recently. If you have sex more than once, make sure he pees beforehand to get any trace swimmers out. But yes, if it's not done the right way, you can get pregnant from precum.

From what I understand it's not so much that precum contains sperm as it is that viable sperm can still be in trapped in the p***s from the last e*********n, and then get pushed out with the precum.

Precum only contains viable sperm if he hasn't cleaned out the urethral tube with urine after his last e*********n. The precum fluid comes from a small gland that is wholly unrelated to sperm production.

Still not something I'd want to mess with though.

It depends on the man if there is sperm in his pre-c*m or not.
The only way to know would be to test it out, or if you end up pregnant.

That's how I got pregnant with dd2. We had sex for like 3 minutes and then put on a condom, and I got pregnant.

Quoting Asher and Haddie's Mommy:" Precum can contain sperm if he's ejaculated recently. If you have sex more than once, make sure he pees ... [snip!] ... he pees beforehand to get any trace swimmers out. But yes, if it's not done the right way, you can get pregnant from precum. "

I was aware of the information about previous e*********ns leaving sperm in the p***s so we've been careful about that, thank goodness.

As long as you do that, you should be good.

Research shows there is no sperm in precum except under a certain set of circumstances and that is a previous e*********n within 6 hours of sex AND if there has been no urination in between.

Perfect! We're not one to have sex multiple times a day so we're good! :) If i had your sex drive (non pregnant) I might run into that problem, but I think we'll be in the clear, lol.
