I have my first IUI coming up next week. I've taken the clomid, I took it at night, didn't really have any side effects except for hot flashes, but the fan in my bedroom fixed that haha.
I was just wondering if anyone had success the first time with an IUI? My doctor is doing 2 IUI's this cycle. The problem is my DH morphology. He is doing a DNA fragmentation tomorrow.
Thanks

My husband has a low count and low motility; that's why we did IUI. I got pregnant my first IUI cycle in 2009. Last year we had 3 failed IUI cycles but we somehow got pregnant on our own.

Good luck! I hope you get your BFP in a couple weeks!!

Thanks, I hope so too. This has been such a stressful process, with our first we weren't really trying and it just happened lol

I got pregnant my first IUI with DS, but I was on injections. I had a failed IUI last month (femara only), and am currently in the 2ww for my second this time around (this one with femara and injections).

Good luck! What's femara?

It's actually a breast cancer drug, but has been used successfully in inducing ovulation in women, especially those who are clomid resistant (like myself). Thanks!
