Besides takeout..

What is the meal your family loves that's easy and you make all the time? Maybe cost friendly too.

I'm looking for some cheap meals to make and cut back on eating out since we just moved and are on a tighter budget these days. I've been on Pinterest but, I'm looking for more.

I just got a crockpot too, so those will help too!

TIA.

Penne with vodka sauce. It coat $30 to feed my family of eight with leftovers. It only takes about 30mins to make sometimes faster if I get the noodles on at the right time.

Chicken alfredo. Just cook some chicken, boil some noodles, and throw a jar or pre-made alfredo sauce over it. lol. Not the healthiest but we love it and it doesn't take long.

This probably isn't the healthiest choice but we fry pork chops a lot. They're cheap and since it's only my boyfriend and I, I only have to fry up a few and we're good to go. It's probably take longer if you have a whole family to feed though....lol

You can use knorr package noodles. I use the Alfredo and add some
Grilled chicken. A total of 20 minutes to make!

Meatloaf. Pasta. Hamburger helper (my SO would eat it everyday if I let him)

We use a ton of those! And the rice ones too. Super cheap and easy.

Tater Tot casserole. I use ground turkey, not beef. My kids love it.

Probably foul medammes or lentils. Both are non-meat meals so they're super fast but they are beans so healthy with tons of protein. We eat both with bread and/or rice, and a salad.

It basically a bean dip. Fava beans, chick peas, tomato, onion, jalapeno, cumin, curry, cayenne, lemon juice and olive oil. Garnished with paprika and cilantro or parsley and lemon. It's really good and filling. It's usually for breakfast though.
