All the dang store baby/kids shampoos make my kids have RIDICULOUS dry hair. Like cradle cap looking on even my 4yr old.
Is there any other options that I can use that won't burn the kids' eyes?

No poo them, and just put a wash cloth over their eyes. ;)

you could try some sulfate free shampoos.

No.
For the smaller kiddo I've used different baby varieties like Johnson, Aveeno, etc.
My son is a combo wash/shampoo for kids that's got star wars on it.
I can look at that one though and compare it!

Is that the ingredient that's so drying?? I'll check all this out. thanks gals!

It's just so irritating. I wanna put DD's hair in a pony tail but then it looks like she has scabs all over her head :?
Her hair is so light and thin still you can see her scalp lol

Not using shampoo. Using baking soda/water and ACV/water instead.

Ah gotcha! haha.
I have both of these.
Last time they got this bad I put baby oil in their hair and combed out all the dead skin *gag*

yeah, sulfates are what make soaps lather. I personally don't like them because I can never tell how much I need to use.

Homemade baking soda soap is a good idea, too!

I use coconut oil on my daughter's hair after every shower because it seems to get dry pretty easily from regular shampoo.

I have this too. IDK why I haven't thought about it. I'm kind of an addict haha.
