Yeah I read the spice thing before to so I never make stuff 'bland' for her and now she has no issues. When she goes to my MILs (she never uses seasonings and stuff) dd won't eat her food unless she has something to dunk it in lol.

yea ive heard of that to but my 6 month old has had fish and shrimp already and hes completely fine. I figured your never gonna figure out if they are allergic to it if you dont let them try it. You just gotta watch them very closely for the next hour or so after they have eaten it just to make sure

that was another thing i was wondering about. how long it would take to be "in the clear" and what all signs are there of a reaction?

the worst is they have trouble breathing, but usually they will get a rash all over their body or break out in hives.
