I never gave my daughter cereal in a bottle, i fed it to her from a spoon made with formula. Also I wouln't even bother saying anything if it wasn't anything dangerous but I have seen how choked she gets on the formula/cereal bottle. And giving a baby under 2 honey is dangerous let alone 4 months old.

FF a child before one is ILLEGAL its not a parenting choice its breaking the law.

I never gave my kids formula in a bottle, too much of a hazard for me. And yes honey is not safe for kid until age 2 same for peanut butter, my pediatrician told me.

Giving just formula in a bottle is a hazard? I didn't exactly have an option with my daughter, but yeah if I just didnt like the way she was doing something then I wouldn't say anything its not my business but when its dangerous I feel like I should say something I just don't know how to say it without coming off rude.

I think it's under the age of 1. There is some honey cough medicine from Little Remedies that is for 1+, but...Still. Botulism is very dangerous!

Ah. Misread. I wouldn't give my 4 month old cereal with a spoon either.

I had to use it in my sons bottle he had sever reflux which would cause him to stop breathing he never once choked on it. If done correctly it is no more a hazard then letting them drink regular formula from a bottle. Seems as though she may be putting to much cereal in it or not the right kind with the wrong nipple. They make special cereal nipples for bottles that are used for kids who have reflux.

I know right. She said she had no idea and so I sent her the link that stares the "20lbs AND over one years old" law. And still nothing ever changed. Plus th middle seat? Seriously? He's ff?! And of u crash he's going through that windshield of they hit hard enough. Two weeks ago she was in a bad wreck but thank god he wasnt in the car. She hasn't had the car seat checked out yet either for damage. The car is totaled!

When she's in my car I install the seat & tell her nicely. She doesn't get it

Some babies can have cereal with a spoon at 4 months... depends on the baby... if they are sitting up and have control of their head... it's perfectly fine, feeding cereal can start between 4-6 months. Personally i'm waiting until my son is 6 months before giving him anything other than formula... if I catch someone trying to feed him table food... I will smack their hand lol... I don't want him eating anything other than formula and baby food until he's a year old.
