If he has a lot of scratches you should keep them clean so they dont get infected. Sometimes they just scratch because they are feeling their face but then the scratches get itchy and it starts a cycle! If you BF you can put some of your milk on the scratches it will help with the itching. But ya, cover his hands and keep his face clean:)

Will do. I wish i was breast feeding my milk never came in and the fenugreek never helped and they had me on a anti nausea med that had a side effect of increased milk production but again it never came in. was very sad about it.

Thats ok, you can use Aquaphor on it too works good. Its a healing ointment and its ok if they rub it around their face even when they have socks on lol.

I bought the target brand aquaphor (same ingrediants and everything) and he broke out really bad in a hugee rash im scared to use it again. I put coconut oil on it and A&D ointment and hydrocortizone cream though..... (i forget if i already said i use that)

DD damn near mutilates her face and stomach lol. Now she's found Mommy's face and tears mine up too lolol.

My daughter scratches her head so hard when she's falling asleep. I cut her nails a lot but they grow so fast
