Birthday Party Invite For One Jodi8 2 kids; Pennsylvania 1324 posts2nd Apr
So, my 6 year old son got invited to a little girl's (from his class)birthday party at a bounce place. My 4 year old son will be extremely upset that he can't go since he obviously is not invited. I KNOW he has to understand that just because his brother got invited to a party doesn't mean he is, etc... But, I feel bad. This is the first time my oldest will be going to a party without his younger brother...Is there any idea's you may have as to what I can say to my youngest or do to help him understand?

I would take him out for a special day with mommy the day of the party.

me personally, i would probably bring both of them and pay the admission for my 4 year old.

Forgot to mention that I will be working and a friend of mine, who's daughter is also going to the party, will be taking my son. So, I can't do anything with my youngest that day or bring him. Maybe take him the day before...? I don't know.
