This is for a friend I never used OPK's so im not 100% sure. I was thinking negative but told her I would double check. If it is negative does the darkness of the line mean she could be close to ovulation.

The test line has to be same color or darker than control line to be positive

Negative, it's not nearly as dark. It being close to the same shade could mean something or nothing at all. Some women get a progression from light to dark and back down others don't.

It doesn't look dark enough to be positive, wouldn't hurt to start baby dancing, you'll prob get a positive opk tomorrow.

Oh she is baby dancing daily right now. She has PCOS and they have been "not preventing" for two years. This is her second month using OPK's.

Tell her GL and lots of baby dust. I have PCOS also and me and hubby have just reached a year of trying with no luck.
