Hello ladies,

I have a 3year old DD and my DS just turn 1. We have a 2 bedroom apartment. DD have her own room and DS share rooms with us. When It would be a good time to change DS to DD room? Also would it be a good idea? DS doesnt have a strong schedule yet. DD goes to sleep at 8pm, he could be sleeping by the same time but at times he wakes up again at 11pm. Right now it wouldn't be the right time to move to a 3bed till at least I dont get a job to help DH with the bills. Help?

AND till what age they can share rooms?

I kept each of my boys with me until they were around 2 and then started transitioning them into a shared room. 2 year olds are far more likely to sleep through the night and therefore are less likely to wake their older sibling. It you're having a space issue and moving your LO to the other room would solve it, than I would try it, you can always bring him back into your room if it's not working out.

Space is not a issue because his crib have a good space in the room even tho its a small room. I was just wondering because DD stood with us till she was 1 year and 9m but there was no option because by then we had a 1bedroom apt. but i think im gonna keep him till then too(:

I love having my babies close. We never used a crib, as I just couldn't go to sleep if I wasn't holding my baby, lol. When we transitioned we first had a mattress next to our bed on the floor and after my son stopped waking and climbing into bed with me we would move him into his own room. I did this with both and will do the same with my coming third child. I'm hoping I get a girl this time around though. I'm a little jealous as you've got one of each.
