I didnt have an OB at the time I found out , so once I found one a few days later I called & made an appointment . They said they dont see you till youre 8 weeks , but I was having issues so they made me get blood work every 48 hrs from 4 weeks - 10 weeks & at 5 weeks 6 days I had to get an ultrasound to confirm it was inner-uterine

Call your OB and they'll tell you when they want to see you.

I think I made an appointment like a week after I got my BFP this time. And I was seen at 7 weeks 6 days.

But with my son everything took a while and I didn't get in until 14 weeks 6 days.

I made my appointment about a week after I found out. It's to meet my doctor and see how far along I am, because I am unsure about LMP

I made an appt the day after I got a BFP because I knew I'd be high risk because of my diabetes and other health conditions. Plus being my periods were irregular I needed to know how far along I was instead of just going off of LMP.

Sorry to steal this thread but I don't want to post my own since I know people IRL here. If when you tested positive with your 2nd (or more) pregnancy and were high risk for any pregnancy (specifically at risk for incompetent cervix), did the OB want to see you sooner than normal?

I know a lot of mama's who have those issues and they always get seen sooner than normal. I know whenever I get a BFP my OBGYN said to call right away and make an appt since I will ALWAYS be high risk.

Yeah, I'll always be high risk too because I had a LEEP and have a shortened cervix. Ugh, I hate being high risk. I'm not even really concerned about it. My first pregnancy went perfect (up until the end but that's a different issue).

this is my 1st , but I was told I would be high-risk when I became pregnant because of my weight , & PCOS. When I found out I was pregnant , & told my OB they asked me a bunch of questions & when I said I was over-weight + had PCOS they said " yep your labeled high-risk hun , but we still wont see you till 8 weeks UNLESS you have issues " .... which I did , & once I was seen they piled more on to my high-risk reasons ( low progesterone & HCG levels , baby implanted almost out of my cervix . )

with my first I found out at about 5 weeks. They wouldn't take me until 12 weeks to confirm pregnancy.

With my second I found out at about 3-4 weeks, and I didn't make an appointment until 22 weeks.
