It's spelled Addison and it's overdone and masculine.

There are many different ways to spell Addison. Not just one. We are spelling my little girls name Addisyn and it's very girlie and feminie.

Ha, no it isn't. Addison is the original--and correct--spelling. Misspelling it doesn't make it "girlie" or "feminie.'' It has a masculine meaning.

This! I love it as a little girl name. Does not sound masculine at all!

Yes actually, Addison- means son of Adam. My daughter is Adyson, same way to say it, different spelling. I love her name and really could care less what the "meaning" behind the name is. There are lots of girl names that have a "masculine" meaning and vice versa.

Yes! it means son oif adam.. But if you look at the gender it has both! I really don't care what other people think about my daughters name.. It's still a very girlie name and everyone loves it. Never met a boy named "Addison"

*Girly.

What does it matter if you've never met a boy named that? The only Stacy and Kelsey I've met are male. It doesn't mean there aren't girls named that, but it also doesn't make it a girly name just because it's on a girl.
