Quoting BG Secrets:" I honestly think he has PTSD, and I just feel so bad, like I should have tried to get him into therapy or there is something I could have done."

Dont feel sorry for him. You did everything right. If he has to do it himself.

I just hope it gets easier.

Just remember you're doing this for your children. If he's willing to hurt you, he's willing to hurt them, especially if he was yelling at your two year old.

Don't let them become victims. You are strong, you're a mother, the very definition of strength.

Deep down I know it's going to be okay but at the same time I am so afraid of the unknown. I'm afraid of a divorce. I am afraid that I am going to run back into his arms and find comfort in someone who will harm me.

It will get easier... you have to take it second by second right now. you slowly work your way to minutes, then hours, then half a day and etc etc etc. <3

my best friend just went through a similar situation, but he actually almost killed her, he ended up going to jail that night and she fell into a bad depression and they ended up taking her 6 month old away because she stayed for so long (they weren't married) and they saw it as a bad invironment for the child and he is now with his aunt and uncle and my friend is only aloud to see her baby once a week with supervised visits. i'm sorry you have to go through that and i'm happy that you did what you needed to do. good luck to ya

Wow, you're amazingly strong! Be proud of yourself for doing the right thing for yourself and your son! It's got to be so hard, but you'll come through this and be better off.
