2 yr old and asthma..? Mama to J ♥ 1 child; Georgia 2017 posts4th Apr
LO has never had any breathing issues until just recently. For the past few months, she has been coughing SO much after exercise or running around. She cannot even do normal activities like playing outside now without coughing a lung up. I've taken her to her pedi and mentioned this twice now and each time they take a pulse ox and tell me its 99-100% and that theres no way she has asthma. I am not convinced. I've noticed her coughing has gotten so much worse these past few weeks. She even vomits afterwards. She does not have a cold or bronchitis either... I am going to take her to a pulmonologist here soon. What do you think? Does your toddler have asthma? How do you treat it?

We do breathing treatments once or twice a day when it gets to him. But his seems to be worse in the summer, better in the winter, so we haven't had to do anything since last year.

my daughter was diagnosed with asthma at 1. She doesn't cough very much unless she's sick than it's 10 times worse...but she has problems breathing. She's very raspy almost all the time and sometimes has trouble catching her breath. She gets breathing treatments almost daily and an inhailor when it's really bad (especially during allergy season)
