I really have to work on my language because dd (1) just repeated me when I said damn  I try really hard not to swear around her but I've been slipping lately. At least she hasn't said it again so this was my wake up call I guess :)

We learned this lesson a few weeks ago. DH said Dick, and DS copied him, then laughed

Luckily DD is at the point where she only does the immediate repeat thing (hears it and says it but won't say it unless she hears it). DH said damn and DD said what sounded really close to it.

then you have the times she says "see it" and it comes out "SHIT!"

I have a hard time not laughing when kids swear because idk why honestly I just find it funny that this cute little kid is saying a bad word and has no idea what they are saying. It's getting better but I'm sure it's going to be a struggle as dd gets older.

DS has a thing about saying butt and calling people butt. Idk why but we will be your and he will say "hi butt!" To random people. And he mocks weird people in Walmart. It's so embarrassing lol

LO seems to like to filter everything out...he'll hear an entire sentence but only hear the naughty word...most of the time he'll tell you "no, no don't say that, that's a naughty word" but he also will randomly yell it out if he's angry, we were at my mom's doctors office yesterday and I wouldn't let him have chocolate so he got all mad and sour and looked at me and said "mommy's bein' an ash-hole"...I was so beyond embarrassed!

We don't swear in our house. Or try not to at all but my SIL is a cop and swears a lot for some reason lol, one time she said to my other SIL "I'm not done fucking talking." Well a few days later my hubby and I were upstairs talking and my 3 year old walks in and asked if we were done fucking.
We had to contain ourselves lol but we quickly told her not to ever say that lol

I'm normally very good at it but we've been hanging out at dh's aunts house a lot lately and his cousins friends are always over there and like every other word is a swear word so it's just something I've sadly been picking up.

My 2 year old walks around saying damn it all the time now. It's my own fault, but still.
