I was working out constantly but then stopped and havent really jogged/ran in a month or so. Not im 5 weeks pregnant and just want to make sure it's okay to do. I know some ppl say if you were doing it before it's fine but if not dont but i have been on and off so would it still be ok. I dont have a health care provider yet bc i dont have my mediciad yet.But when i was further along in my last pregnancy the midwife told me not to do it anymore bc of all the fluid, and cord.
I believe the rule of thumb is if you didn't do it before you were pregnant then don't do it while you're pregnant. Or at least thats what my doctors have always told me anyway.
I would do it but more as a fast walk, if you were doing it before you go pregnant and you dont push yourself too hard and listen to your body you should be fine...I wish I would have kept it up during my first tri but I was sooo sick and tired I didnt do anything for weeks now at 27 weeks I'd like to but Its been months so Im jsut sticking to walking with LOTS of water and rests.
it's perfectly fine to do it your entire pregnancy. just like the other women said, don't push yourself too far and listen to your body. also make sure to stay hydrated.

Working out and staying fit is MORE important during pregnancy.
My DR said I can do any exercise I can talk through. If I can't talk, it's too strenuous.

Yah i can talk through it but I will do intervals instead of doing a straight 20 minutes. So a five minute jog then speed walk and so on.
