...when your toddler unbuckles his chest clip when in the car seat?

pull over, scold them. fix it, and if they continue to unbuckle they get disciplined for it. (taking away stuff ect) I always explain to them why its important to wear the seatbelt (if there was an accident and how it keeps them safe) and my kids wont unbuckle because they know how dangerous it is.

I'm not sure he understands that, he is 18 months old.

There is probably a chest clip cover you could buy somewhere.

I doubt it? This kid only wants to do things that are dangerous.

I never had a child that young mess with their buckle... is it really easy to undo? my son's myride 65 chest clip is not easy to unbuckle. I cant do it one handed and he cant do it at all, (hes 2 years and 4 months old and been in it since he grew out of his infant seat at 7 months)

I don't usually give him toys because he will just throw them into the seat next to him or just hold them not playing with them. He isn't in the car for more than like 20 minutes at a time.

lol I don't know which one that is! well I don't know what to tell you short of buying something (like someone said a chest clip cover) to keep it from being easy for now. I know it cant be too different to undo in case of an emergency (ex: car catches on fire and you have to grab him and get out fast) but you cant have him unbuckling and you not see it right away and have an accident and he gets hurt!

This is also a kid that opens crank out windows with the lock and all, and can open childproof caps.
