please tell me theres an easier way. DD was in the E.R. the other day. Turns out its just a bad cold. Anyways they tried to give her liquid tylenol. Even with the help of me and hte nurses it didnt work. So they gave her the meds up the butt. In my directions for home meds they said I have to give her the liquid kind. I asked how? I mean they saw how it was. They said well I guess you gunna need more than one person. Im alone with my daughter and to get her to half way swallow the meds I have to holdd her down in twisted ways and pry open her mouth. I swear if someone saw me through the window they would thinks I was abusing her.

You could put it in her food, in her drinks. Don't let her know you're giving it to her.

Sure. Would she take a sip of juice? or a bit of yogurt? You could put it in that.

Prop her in the corner of the couch. Squeeze her cheeks so she has fish lips, squirt it toward her inner cheek. And tomorrow call her ped and ask for suppositories. My son has to have suppository Tylenol:(

Neither does mine. It's small compared to a poop and they don't have to do any work lol

honestly,... if you cannot even get sips of fluids in here.. THAT is the bigger issue. Tylenol is for comfort... but isn't treating anything that is wrong with her. If you can't get her to drink anything... she needs to be seen again

My son refuses to take liquid tylenol as well, I bought acetaminophen suppositories.
