First take a deep breath. Freaking out won't help you. Is there anymore? Are you cramping? If not that's a good sign. I would call your doctor because they should know what's going on and they'd be able to help you as they know your medical history. Until then drink some water, put your feet up, and try to relax.

With my first I never spotted but this time around I spotted quite a bit my first trimester. I wouldn't really worry if its small amounts and not bright red. Hope everything is okay!!

With my three healthy pregnancy the only time I spotted was after like haveing sex or getting ck. With my last mc I never had any cramps at all even when passing the clots. Called the hospital and they wasnt any help they pretty much just said if it gets worse to come in.

There's nothing the ER can do so I wouldn't recommend it. Bleeding in the first trimester can happen for lots of reasons. Definitely get in to see your OB ASAP for peace of mind. Hang in there.

I live in the UK so don't know about healthcare but I can tell you that I bled at the beginning of this pregnancy (my fourth) and I didn't with any of my others. I have had MC's in the past and although the bleeding this time was not as much and not as painful it certainly scared me and I had mild cramping. It lasted for about a week at 6wks, again at 10 wks and again at nearly 14wks. I also had to wait for a few days before they could scan me to see what was happening and it was the longest 10 days of my life!
I am now 30 wks and have had a perfectly healthy pregnancy since so my point is although it looked dire at the beginning, it turned out ok in the end. I hope the same ending happens for you x

I had a couple of days of dark brownish red spotting when I was about 5 1/2 weeks with this current pregnancy. I had 3 miscarriages in the past, and no spotting in any of my other pregnancies so I was really freaking out. I said the exact thing you did, that I wasn't strong enough to handle another miscarriage. I talked with a friend of mine, who has also had one m/c, and I talked with my SO, who went through two of the m/c with me....They made me feel better when I had the spotting. My friend told me that she had it with all of her pregnancies, and the spotting itself turned out to be nothing.

I didn't go to the ER then, but I DID stay off my feet as much as possible until the spotting completely stopped, and one extra day to be careful.

I am sorry that this is the result, By some chance or miracle I hope things go okay for you.
I understand that a loss is a loss no matter how small, I hate the fact people are so rude and say things like well you have three healthy children or what if there was something wrong with the baby (just take all them type of comments with a pinch of salt).
If you need to vent or someone who has been there before you can PM me.
