LO is almost 5 months old, he wakes up 3 times a night, I contribute it to his reflux, because he will take one full bottle, then the other two times he drinks an ounce or two then drifts back to sleep, Dr stopped his zantac, is there any hope he'll sleep solid soon?

Was he sleeping through before the Zantac was stopped?
It doesn't sound like he needs the bottles in the night if he only takes an ounce or so, but you know best...

My reflux baby didn't sleep all night until about a year or so.

Have you thought about a spoonful of cereal before bed? On a spoon of course. It can really help reflux

Our doc recommended trying a bit of cereal in the bottle. My daughter's case is mild though and we never ended up trying it. I know it's a big "no, no" on here, but some docs still recommend it for some cases! Maybe something to consider. Why was she taken off the med anyway? Was it helping?

my daughter has reflux and is on the zantac. She's 9 months old and about a month ago we started giving it to her as needed instead of everyday. She's always slept through the night though so I can't help you there. I'd ask the doctor if you can still give it to him as needed. It really helps!

My son is 6 1/2 months old and was on zantac twice a day and prilosec once a day. We just stopped the zantec and doubled up the prilosec. He doesn't sleep through the night and gets up an average of 2-3 times a night. He is a congested baby because of the reflux and that's what I contribute to him not sleeping better. He did have cereal in his bottles, but we stopped that a while ago with good results!!
