Say a critically endangered animal (like a tiger) harms or kills a human out of natural instinct as man has encroached upon its territory (hunting or protecting its young). Do you feel the animal should be killed in retribution? If not, how do you feel the issue should be handled? Does your opinion vary depending on whether or not the animal attacked for hunting purposes vs. protection of young? What if the animal, like a tiger, was being kept as a "domestic" pet and turned on its "owner" or injured its "owner" out of simply playful behavior.

Likewise, if an animal somehow had the will and ability to enact retribution on hunters, do you think their actions would be just?

I do not think they should be killed unless they are caught in the act and it's the only way to stop the attack.

There was a guy not to far from where I live who had a bunch of endangered animals. He died and they got loose. They all got killed. It INFURIATED me.

I think the animal should always be protected unless it meant saving a human life.

That's f**king messed up!

I know that the animals probably wouldn't survive in the wild because of their "domestic" lifestyle, but f**king put them in a zoo or something! f**k!

And I agree with you btw.

I know. The news was showing pictures of like 10 tigers piled on one another. It was horrific.

I've actually been watching that Fatal Attraction show. I think a lot of times a zoo or conservation place may not have the room or resources. Also, after an animal sees a person as food or prey, I *think* they tend to become more aggressive towards humans. This is with ones who are kept as pets and kill or maim the owner. It may be the human's fault for trying to keep them as a pet, but at the same time, there are sometimes no other good options.

I grew up in Zanesville and I have a lot of friends and family there. I also go to church there. I do believe they were trigger happy. There were lots of animals that could have been saved and were not. However some of them had to be killed do the fact they were no long on the property and they did not have the man power to track them. The ones still on the property however should have just been watch until someone could get there with a tranq. gun.

Also I don't believe a wild animal should be killed for attacking someone unless it is to stop an attack.

Laws need to be stricter for owning these animals. Until this happened I didn't know how easy it was to own these animals. There are so many of these animals just in Ohio that are owned by people with no real training to take care of them.
