Quoting Brooke&Joshua+2.5:" If we're at home alone it doesn't bother me at all, I can ignore it fine, until he starts shuving things ... [snip!] ... if I pay attention and ask him to stop or if I ignore it. He stops when he wants to, doesn't matter where we are or who's over."
Eventually he'll do it but it won't be all the time. Just hang in there and redirect as best as possible.

Quoting Brooke&Joshua+2.5:" Well not only does he stick his hands in there but he sticks objects down there too. Recently his new ... [snip!] ... off and then stick his hands in the back or sides of his diaper and smear his poop all over everything including himself ):"My son always had his hand in his diaper at that age. He PTed at 26 months and would put his hands in his shorts so I just told him I need to see his hands and you can't have your hands in your pants all the time. But at 20 months I would just keep taking his hands out. And tell him it's not okay to put things in his diaper and keep redirecting that.
