What dosage did you use?
When did you start it?
What was your routine of using it orally/vaginally?
I plan to use EPO this time around but wanted some info before doing so I have heard most women will start it around 35 or 36 weeks first orally then vaginally. I will be scheduled for an induction about 39 weeks for medical reasons (just like with DD1 although she came 5 days before I was suppose to be induced) but I really don't want to be induced as I have heard its a much harder process.:? So any advice would be appreciated. I am just over 33 weeks so I figured now would be the time to looking into it and figure out what is best when the time comes! TIA
So am I understanding that your going to be induced? If that's the case I know if you want to avoid being induced medically there are natural ways to do it. If you want to do it naturally go to EARTHMAMAANGELBABY.Com you can create a free birth plan and while making it you can see the natural options for being induced
I just started because I haven't heard of it earlier than like last week. I take 1000 mg orally in the morning and then 500 mg orally at night as well as 500 mg vaginally. I've heard of people stating at 36 weeks. Personally I wouldn't start until 38 weeks but that's me. When you do it vaginally wear a pad, it's messy in the morning. I thought my water broke lol but nope just oil. Sorry I'm not too much of help on the effectiveness of it.
With DD1 sex did the trick...lol but unfortunately SO is overseas so that isn't an option this time around. BOO!!! Yes I will induced around 39 weeks I had GD as I did with my first daughter and I don't know the chances of going into labor at 38 weeks again naturally
Hmm I have GD and they're letting me go to my due date. But it's also diet controlled and my sugars are great. I'm also getting weekly BBP's and NST's and I kind of told them I don't want to be induced if I don't need to. Sex isn't an option over here either but for me it's cause it hurts way too bad. :( Poor DH!

My doctors won't let me go past my due date since placenta wears out faster with GD. They told me to pick a day between 39 and 40 weeks. I picked I believe 39.5 weeks but she came on her own at 38.5  My sugars are great....I have had it mildly with both pregnancies thank goodness. DD1 was 7 lbs 2 oz so she was a good weight
Oh I know it does which is why I think they have me getting weekly BPPs unless that's normal with GD. Idk, first pregnancy with it lol. They won't let me go past 40 weeks. I had to practically beg them to let me go to 40. My A1C is also normal so idk if that has to do with it. I have no GD symptoms just failed the stupid 3 hour. Ugh. Good luck though!!

I had my A1C and also had a fasting blood sugar done earlier in pregnancy and both came back perfect but when I took the 2 hour test at 28 weeks I passed the 1 and 2 hour but failed the fasting by 6 points:roll: so I failed it
That sucks! And pretty much what happened to me lol. Fingersticks? Beautiful. Continual A1C monitoring? Fine. No excess weight gain. No glucose in my urine. I don't trust that test to be very accurate. It gives a lot of false positives and false negatives I've come to learn.
I started taking it orally at 34 weeks. Took 1000 mg in the morning orally and 1000 mg at night orally. Then once I hit 36 weeks I did 1000 mg in the morning orally and 1000mg at night vaginally. It didn't do squat for my cervix. I was still thick, hard, and closed when I got was induced at 41 weeks.
