i need some ideas to jazz up plain white rice but not to spicey as my SO is having issues with acud reflux right now and we are trying to make better foods for ourselves

Add lots of veggies. Some soy sauce?

Get basmati rice, it's way better and is a lot easier to make flavorful. Like cooking it with chicken stock instead of water, add curry and turmeric and salt, cardamom pods and a few whole cloves. Very delicious.

I agree! Basmati is the best.. I don't buy anything else lol. Soooooo good

Agreed. It is the best.



OP, Just make sure you wash it and soak it for at least 40-45 minutes. Hours are better though.
