I don't think so, as long as she is learning some new words. DD vocabulary blew up on her second birthday, she would not be quiet after that, she is constantly talking.

I don't even think DD said "momma" at 1. She followed direction and babbled but no words until 18 months on the dot. And she just exploded with words from there.

When DD was one she could say momma, dada, ball, uh oh, and baby.

Now she's 21 months old and can probably say about 80 words. I wouldn't be worried, every baby is different! One is definitely too young to worry :)

My fourteen month old says dada bye bye mom keekee for kitty ba for bite and woo for hello. Thats it. Most of her communication is through pointing or crying.

All our pedi asked was does she say I think three words. She does (mama, bubba, and dada) and she was like great! That's all we ask at 12m. I was concerned too, because my son is autistic/nonverbal and I'm just paranoid AF about speech and whatnot...but she has recently (in the last month) gotten into her "parrot" stage, she can say puppy (comes out bup-pee) and thank you (dak ooo) and bye bye with a wave (bu-byeee)...and anything else you say she tries to imitate. So your LO sounds pretty typical.

Mama, no no, uh-uh, hi, baba.

Idk if she uses dada to refer to her dad yet, we're never together for more than five.minutes for me to see lol

My daughter is 1 in two weeks time. She's saying mama, dada, baba, bye bye, all gone and ah ah. Think she's trying to say bobba now lol that's what it sounds like when she sees her bottle. But other than that she's a lazy baby she won't crawl or even try to pull herself up. They're all so different lol. She babbles like crazy she'll be a talker like me lol but i won't be surprised if its a few months yet before she tries to walk.

yeah they are deff all so different. I just feel like my oldest was pretty much forming sentences by now... but my memory must be off haha.

Good to know there's nothing to worry about!

When we had my anatomy scan with my DD...she had her legs crossed but they got a good movie of her "talking"...really she was just swallowing the fluid or something but I was like "yep, she's talking already. it's definitely a girl lol"...I was right lmao. It was just funny, because she IS such a chatterbox

My son was sitting up at 4m, crawling by 7, walking by 9...my daughter was way later on ALL of that. She JUST started walking a few weeks ago, and she's almost 14m. Its definitely funny to see how differently they can develop

Mama, no-no, yay, yes, booboob, nana, her own version of thank you (sounds like ank uuu) and her own version of gentle (sounds like ennle). I know the last 2 don't count though
