So I've had to deal with being really sick this pregnancy. I'm 9 weeks. 10 on wednesday... Me and SO havent had sex in three weeks. Last night i was feeling up to it. He went slow, nothing to rough.... today i was okay, we went on an hour long nature walk and i started getting crampy, thought nothing of it.... but now i just went to poop (been constipated too) and i peed also. so i wiped my vag without looking at the paper i threw it in the toilet, then i wiped my butt... and i notived i had blood- so i thought cuz i was constipated.... But then i stood up and looked in the toilet and the wipe i used on my vag was covered in red.. so i wiped my vagina again and its red bloody mucus. Im freaking the f**k out.

I'd call your doctor.. I bled at 7 weeks, but it was very light (also after having sex) and doctors said that is normal. but I never really cramped and it wasn't as heavy as yours sounds.. good luck

I would definitely be calling your OB or going to the ER, is it a lot of blood?

It's not pouring outta me or anything, it's when I wipe enought to stain the paper red. It's mucousy too.

If you're worried, go to the ER or speak with your OB. But, I bled a lot once after having sex, I was 10 weeks. I was worried and went to the ER, they did an exam and ultrasound. Both coming back normal. Its because the increased blood supply to the cervix means that during sex the blood vessels are more likely to break.

Waiting for dr to call back. Thank you. I'm seriously hyperventilating over here. Trying to calm down.

Definitely try to calm down, let me know what the doctors say. If its not getting heavier and you're not cramping I'm pretty sure you'll be okay. Its scary though, when I wiped and saw bleeding I instantly started crying and freaking out! And everything was normal, :)

Dr on call wouldn't even let me talk. When I answered the phone he was like
"Hi is this Shelly--- so your 9weeks and spotting? Have you had an ultrasound yet?"
Then I told him how I've had to go to the er twice for IV fluids due to hyperemosis and they've done a quick ultrasound with there machine (really low quality) and he's like "and the fetus had a heartbeat?" And I was like as far as I know... So he told me I was fine and told me to call the office tomorrow when there open so I can schedule an ultrasound during the week this week...

He wasn't very nice- he could tell I'm freaking out. He wouldn't even let me talk. Wouldn't let me tell him that I'm really crampy :( I'm waiting an hour- relaxing and trying to de- stress. If I'm still bleeding I'm going to the er.

so because it had a heartbeat before that means it's okay now? I'd probably still go to the ER.. he sounds like a busy douche who just wanted you off the phone.

I think my bleeding lasted about 45 mins altogether could have been an hour. It went from a lot of blood to light spotting by the time they did an exam in the ER. Most cities have more then one hospital, maybe call another and ask their opinion? I know how you feel though.. its really hard to get the on call doctors to care.. :(

I live on an island- only one hospital :(.

This office has seriously gone to shit since I was last there two years ago. They use to make me comfortable now they are just rude and always in a hurry. Hell is it normal for your first dr appt to be with the nurse practitioner and not your dr? I didn't get my exam or anything. With my first two I was seen by both the nurse and my dr and got a pap and all was good. It's just weird how they do things now I'm not use to it.

Yes, it is, actually. lol. Every appointment it would switch. First was the NP and then the second was with the DR and so on. :) But I understand what you mean. Doctors here are always packed 2 hour waits is normal, and they are always rushed and in a hurry! :( I don't feel like a patient half the time, and it sucks.
