Breasts leaking at 21 weeks Sam's Mummy Due August 23; 1 child; Seattle, Washington 535 posts8th Apr
So, I've noticed my breasts are leaking and I'm only 21 weeks. Should I start pumping? Is this normal? My nipples feel like they need a release....TMI I know...sorry!

It's normal, it's colostrum. No need to pump! :)

Pretty normal, but I wouldn't start pumping this early...too much nipple stimulation CAN cause contractions. You can hand express some in the shower to relieve some of the pressure if you really feel it is nessicary

I started leaking about 2 weeks ago. Enough to leak through my shirt & leave stains but not enough to warrant pumping. It'll let up some days & leak others. I just use nursing pads on the days that they seem extra leaky!

Been leaking most of my pregnancy! It s***s haha get some nipple pads for bad days, hand express for relief if absolutely needed. Wear a comfy nursing bra to bed or a towel over your breasts to absorb it. My sheets need to be washed all the time now cause I sleep in the n**e most days. So fun!
