Anyone else ever get SO sick of being in a relationship that they would just rather be alone?

I'm so sick of DH lately. It's like he literally has no brain is unable to think long enough to save his life.

Sometimes the grass *seems* greener on the other side of the fence. With having to be alone now, I can honestly say that no, I would not rather be alone. My husband may get on my nerves occasionally when he is home, but nothing puts life and marriage into perspective like 8,000 miles distance and sparce contact.

The grass is greener on the other side because it's fertilized with bullshit. I used to laugh at that and think "how ridiculous". It's true...very true.

This is true.
I would settle for a vacation from DH. I just hate being stuck at home all the time with no money or anything to do.
He takes all the money and my car and leaves his on the street with no gas. Then it's my fault because he has to leave for school ASAP but won't leave me money to put gas in his car.

Maybe he is under a lot of stress? I can understand the stuck at home feeling... We re located to a base literally in the middle of no where. Could you find inexpensive hobbies you might enjoy? Or volunteer opportunities in your area?

I tried going a week without my husband going to see family in a different state... i wouldn't trade him for anything even when he gets on my nerves

Yes I would rsther be slone than be abused emotinally or physically, lied to, cheated on, or taken advantage of. Anthing other than those I can put up with. It can be very lonely to be single

Yes. I've been in that mode for a while now. I'm not really feeling the relationship thing ANYTIME soon. I don't really miss it that much either.

It sucks. :(
I don't know what to do about it either. I wish we could come to some kind of half way point on things.
