Decreased Fetal Movement? veggiehugger 1 child; Michigan 232 posts

I've noticed today and yesterday that my baby hasn't been moving as much as usual. And when I do feel him move, it's not nearly as strong as it has been. I had an ultrasound around 36 weeks and everything came back 100% normal and he was completely healthy.

I have an appointment tomorrow morning, should I just wait it out and talk to the midwife about it tomorrow or call tonight? :(

I'm 37 weeks pregnant, btw.

Don't stress Mama...Sometimes babies have lazy days...and now that you're quite far along, he could just be running out of room to move around. Drink some cold water, or something sugary and lay down...See if that will get him going. It's good that you're still feeling him move :)

Absolutely not trying to scare the shit out of you but my best friend had this happen around her due date and her daughter's cord was wrapped around her neck. She ended up having brain damage and they had to take her off life support. For this reason I will always be safe before sorry. Call your doc.
