Is your partner?
What kind of kinks are you into?
How do you bring it up to a new partner?

I'm curious.

Talk about it, like you would anything else.

Sex is a normal part of relationships.

Yeah but do I just say "hey I'm a submissive, and I'd like you to beat me and force me to do shit."
Doesn't sound like it would work well.

I would start with, I like rough sex, the dom/sub kind.

Or your way, idk how open your relationship is.

You don't have to say it that way. Lol. Say "I like when you take control of me. It's hot pretending I'm your sex slave." Then you can suggest some light b*****e and move up from there.

Hahaha, light b*****e.
I probably won't ever be able to be with someone who isn't in the scene already. I literally get nothing from sex if it's not really hardcore. It makes it tough meeting people because the second I say submissive everyone thinks they're a Dom.

It was just a suggestion to start out with someone who may not have tried it before. I had to slowly tell my bf what I like, because I was nervous he would not be into it or think I was a total freak.

That's the problem, I don't think I could be with someone who hadn't before. It sucks but I know what I need and I can't teach someone what to do again. It was 5 years of awkward sex.

I'm in a b**m relationship .... though haven't done much in the way of anything recently. Its not something I would ever bring up to a new partner straight away.

My boyfriend is the one that introduced me to it. He's my sub.
We're into lots of crazy shit. I'm a little sadistic, he likes humiliation and cross-dressing, it's just fun all around. We're curious about polyamory, also.
We only really talk to people that we meet on fetish sites, so we don't have to worry about explaining it. I probably wouldn't even try to do anything with someone not in it or at least interested and wanting to learn.

I started by suggesting one new thing at a time. Most people aren't totally turned off by a set of handcuffs or a blindfold. I just gauge their reaction from that. Small steps forward and such.
