Potty training for your son?
How old was he and how long did it take?

Started at 18 months, went on a trip, forgot the potty & reverted back to diapers. Did it again at 23 months and it took 9 days.

My son will be 2 in a week and we've been casually using the potty for a few months now, he tells me when he needs to poop but not when he needs to pee.

DS was potty trained during the day by 3 years old. He still wets the bed, though. He used to be in pull ups at night, but lately we've been able to get him out of them. He wets only occassionally now.

Do y'all think 15 months is to soon? Not to actually try but to like put him on it 2 or 3 times a day to give him an idea?? Or is that kinda stupid?

I'd let him show interest first.

I waited until DD and DS started asking to go to the potty. But if you feel he's ready, you know better than me. Lol! :D

I dont have a son. But when I was a live in and watched my nephew from 4 months till he was 2.5 yrs old. We started training at 13 months and he was out of diapers by 15 months (except at night) then he was getting up to pee in the night by 19 months old. So stop night diapers then.

I tried around 28mos and nothing then again around 30 and he would occasionally pee. I pushed it around 33mos and it was a battle so I let him decide and one day he just went and never stopped! He was completely day time trained just after his 3rd birthday. Now he's going to be 4 in July and still wears a pull up to bed. My dd is 22mos and almost completely trained.

So my son is not a lost cause :)
He will be 3 in 3 weeks and refuses to try. He understand the concept just won't do it at all.
