I don't know but I guess it would depend on the MOS he's going into. Let me see if I can find more info from my military friends.

I asked one of my friends who is also a vet and she said she didn't think so. I never met anyone with a stutter while in so I don't know for sure. Definitely ask a recruiter, they know all the conditions that would prevent someone from joining.

I asked DH, and he knew a guy (in the marines) in a communications unit who stuttered.

I meant to say she didn't think it would be s problem lol I came back to this thread and realized I wasn't very clear
