I was recently on Alesse but this month my pharmacy gave me Alysena. Is there a difference between the two or are the relatively the same? If they are not the same, would the starting of Alysena mean that I should've used protected the first seven days, or would it not matter ?

I'm so glad that these are medication names and not possible baby names, which is what I assumed when I read the title....lol

Okay, so I had to google but they're the same birth control, Alysena is just a different name. No worries. http://chealth.canoe.ca/drug_info_details.asp?brand_name_id=6117

OT: I'm reallllly glad this wasn't a baby name thread.
