Oh. Physically or mentally?

I'd say somewhere in the mid range somewhere. Depending on the place you work in, of course.

I'd have no problem working in a county jail or one of the prisons closeby. I would not be able to work in a prison like San Quentin or Pelican Bay b/c I'd feel like my life would be in too much danger.

Not all that dangerous though there are some things that could go bad with the job. My husband is one. He was on the road for about 4 months last year before going back to the jail and that was more scary to me than anything! So I'm relieved he is back working in the jail.

Neutral. Dh was a CO in a faith based prison where the inmates could walk around as they pleased (within reason) granted it wasn't the max security prison he applied to, but there were some guys that did bad things. It depends on the prison

Depends. I has the potential to be extremely dangerous ( Santa Fe prison riots for example)

i think it really depends on where you are located, here where i live, its not too dangerous, other places can be extremely dangerous. Also depending on rank and location it can be a very stressful job. A friend of mines husband works for the sheriffs dept and has some stress related health issues

Kinda dangerous. That is one of the things my husband would like to do when/if he gets out. I would rather have him do that than what hes doing now.

I'm not offended...you'll have to try harder than that haha! someone came out with a fish in a bag. I touched the bag and it hit the side of the bag trying to bite me! If it wasn't for the bag it would have lol

LOL Well around here, the walmart greeters really don't greet... they just stand near the door and sometimes make eye contact but usually just push a cart towards you, that's about it. That's why I figured that would be a good one to put, lol  I'm glad the fishy didn't catch you though!
