She adores meat. She has been getting cut up meat since she started BLW, she likes literally everything. Have you tried shredded chicken?

Mine wont. He just turned 2.. and he will eat 2 whole cordogs like it's nothing.. but he wont eat anything for another day and a half.

I can get him to take the occasional bite of some meats, but that's it.

Every time we go to Wal Mart we stop by the deli and my friend gives LO a sample of chicken nuggets.

Quoting ashley[&ryan!]:" my son is about to be 3 years old in less than a month, and he just wont eat meat, except hotdogs. every ... [snip!] ... school here [in canada] he cant be taking peanut butter for lunch so im REALLY trying to get him used to meat. any ideas?"

Beans and rice and dairy also have lots of protein. Meat isn't necessary. I know lots of other things have protein too I just am too tired to think of them.

My sons the exact same way! He's just turned 3 in February. He usually only eats hot dogs and crispy chicken. I think at this age they only need 1 to 2 oz of meat a day so don't worry that much. And if he's eating peanut butter and other things with protein he will be fine! Does he take vitamins yet

My daughter has never eaten meat. She's 2.5yrs old & only just started eating chicken nuggets occasionally a few months ago but won't eat any other chicken or meat. Her diet consists of cereal, poptarts, crackers, fruit, peanut butter & jelly, cookies, mac & cheese. Nothing more! She is special needs & this may have a lot to do w/ her poor diet but it's not effecting her health so I just give her what she will eat & continue to try to offer the rest even though she won't even try it.

My son will eat all meat.. My daughter will eat chicken as long as its "fine chicken" as she calls it ( very moist and not dry) and bacon and mini hotdogs (breakfast sausage). I feed her peanut butter and beans and other things that have protein that she will eat. I also try to make it how she likes. So if she wants melted cheese on her chicken I do that or sauce. She loves to dip!
