The way I see it, it's not my body therefore not my place to remove a part of it when it's unnecessary. Once it's gone you can't get it back.
Also, do your research OP.. it's a cosmetic surgery. It's no less hygienic or healthy to be in tact... teach your kid to wash- let him keep his foreskin.

No, PARENTS are lazy for not teaching their kids hygiene. Older people tend to get infections because they can't clean themselves... cut or not. It happens, to both men and women. It's a perk of being old and unable to clean yourself any longer.

I let my husband make that call because I don't have a p***s and didn't feel qualified to make the decision. My husband said to do it because his father (my son's grandfather) had some issues and had to have it done as an adult and I guess it was a pretty horrible experience for everyone in their household, particularly my father in law. They did it the morning after he was born, it didn't seem to bother him at all, took about a week and a half to heal, we haven't had any issues. If I had another boy, I'd let my husband make the call again.

You're giving him much higher chance for erectile dysfunction and less enjoyable sex.. please do not fool yourself... do what's best for your baby and leave him perfect, just the way he is :-)

Seriously... Dont bash my opinion or reason for getting my son circumcised. And putting soap on your Dick is.easy, what sucks is having to wash it every time you have sex.
I also chose it for religious reasons, and my.husband feels VERY strongly about having it done.
Theres plenty of other women here who said they will circumcise there son, dont single me out.

Don't worry about what anyone else thinks. Circ threads always turn bitchy.

My husband is circ'd and he still washes it after we have sex... i like to have a shower after sex too.

And although my dh is circ'd he wishes he wasnt and doesnt want our sons to be. He hates that sex is all shaft stimulated and wishes he had some 'head action' as he calls it lol

Wait... what? My SO is circ'd and washes his dick after sex :? My ex who was intact also washed his dick after sex. You don't just put a body part into a fest pool of bodily fluid and not wash it -- regardless of being circ'd or not.

I hope you're kidding.... No wonder you think you're kid will get an infection.
