My son is 15 months old and still nurses a few times a day, nurses to sleep and comfort-nurses at night. We have been unofficially TTC for I don't know how long, I mean, we haven't used any form of BC since 5wks PP (mid Feb 2012?). I have not had a period since I got pregnant with my son and I've been told that night-weaning is the way to jump-start your cycle but this not an option for us. And how would I know if I did get pregnant when I do finally ovulate? Anyone have advice, experience or an ongoing similar situation?

I had to wean in order for my cycle to come back because I never have a cycle while nursing. I still used bc though while nursing. I am no longer nursing my daughter is 9 months.

Yeah, it's nice not having to deal with AF, it's just frustrating knowing it's not under my control and NOT knowing when I'll be fertile again. My mom had a lot off issues TTC my brother and I was old enough to see everything she went through, It was awful for everyone ans it's something that's really stayed with me my whole life.

Thanks.
