oh trust me, it gets "better'... I'm having pressure and pain from one hip to the other because they are trying to spread for getting ready to give birth. trust me; it's normal. I've had the hip and lower back pain since 22 weeks, if not sooner than that. Do you sleep on your left side usually? If you do, try sleeping on your right side for a night; it may help some. It helps me sometimes... but I always end up on my left side anyway... heh

Your hips are spreading, so hip and lower back pain is common.

I've only got one other child, and never had this problem with him. Not until I was actually ready to go into labor with him that is. With this baby I've been feeling so much ligament pains it's unreal.

I know the feeling. I have a feeling that this lil man is gonna come a week or two early. Tonight every time I've gotten up, he's been so low all I can feel is pressure and pain in my pelvis and my back.

ive had tons of pain through out my entire pregnancy. the only thing that seemed to help was this ointment called tiger balm its a muscle relaxing ointment you can get it at any store really that i know of in the medicine isle. you only need a tiny bit of it. its almost like icy hot but not entirely. it works WAY better then icy hot to. i love the stuff. i use it for my lower back.hips. legs. it even helps with my restless leg syndrome. i use for DH`s aches and pains and his muscles get all sorts of knotted and locked up and it loosens him right up!! lol give it a try momma it might help. GL!!

Same here too! Some of my friends suggested a belly band I am going to try and see if it works. I'm having such a hard time getting comfortable. I've slept on my right, left and even propt pillows to sleep on my back. My back just hurts all the time. The worst is when my little man lays on some nerve and my sciatic nerve starts hurting. OUCH! My butt and leg have horrible sharp pains and sometimes I even lose my footing. My Dr. told me I could use a heating pad on low for a short time to help ease the pain but an hour or so after I stop it comes right back. We just have to keep thinking in a few months it will be all worth it!!
