Could I get in trouble(CS question) Noneya Business Due August 29; 1 child; Pennsylvania 10742 posts

BD supposedly has a better job. He lies a bit. Ok, more than a bit. He told me he know owns the gas station he works at. I know that's a lie but I do know he's making more working there than he did before he got fired from his last job over a year and a half ago. The problem is he works under the table. I have people getting evidence of him working there and I have the message he sent me saved. He only pays child support when he's taken to court.

I'm getting fed up with his bullshit that he has the nerve to tell everyone I'm a horrible mom and I'm keeping LO from him even though it's because he's mentally unstable and even if he was right in his brain, he still doesn't have a place to take LO and his car isn't inspected, not insured and he had a DUI and probably doesn't have a license anymore with how many traffic violations he has. LO's also been sick a lot lately and missing work and driving far to his doctor visits are building up. He goes through Tylenol and Advil like no tomorrow. He gets fevers that are 105 at average. He needs to take it or he can have a seizure.

He's where I'm nervous. I got the paper work to sign for the petition stating that I'm asking to increase the support because of his job promotion and LO's medical bills. Even if they're not exactly the right terms, is it ok? It's almost impossible to get in touch with our enforcer. It took 2 weeks to just get the paper work to sign.

You can always request a cs modification & if the judge doesn't agree you won't get it. You can't get in trouble for requesting it though. My bd also workd under the table & doesn't pay his cs. He's 23,000 behind so he's facing incarcaration

I already requested for it. I have the paper work here to sign so we can get a court date. But our enforcer worded the reasoning differently than I did. Idk if I should attach a letter clarifying it or what.

I think it never hurts to add more. Have you looked up at all online for your state for the laws for modification of child support? That may be why it doesn't have anything listed by the enforcer other than that, maybe the other things are wouldn't be "legal" in your state for modifications.I am not sure though. I hate the crap that it takes to try to get a modification done.

It's really simple here. I called, talked to the enforcer, not even a week later got the paper work. Now I just need to sign the paper work and get a court date. BD probably won't even show up which is fine with me because his ass can sit in jail until it put some sense into him.
