hi sorry for tmi but when i wiped earlier , there was this snotty stringy stuff every time i wiped and then this big glob of brown snot stuff came out , and im kinda crampy , is this my mucus plug and if it is when do you normally have the baby after loosing the mucus plug

It could be. There's no set time you'll go into labor after you lose your mucous plug and some women still don't go into labor on their own. Furthermore, your mucous plug can regenerate itself.

That's how mine started but that continued for 3 days and by day 3 there was so much bright red bloody mucus I couldn't believe it. I do know it can regenerate itself, which is what I figured it must have been trying to do but I was actually in labor the whole time. My contractions stated before my plug started coming out but I wasn't dilating. I finally pulled the rest of my plug out and went to the hospital a few hours later and measured 6cm. But I was 40wks and had been having contractions every 4-6min from the beginning of labor days earlier. IDK if helping the plug out was what finally made me dilate but that said...



You still have a while so I would not try it now and hope that your baby bakes until late May when you're due! No NICU babies!
