Says my husband...

So my husband is home until tomorrow for a injury. Today he was feeling alot better and so I told him since he thinks that taking care of him, 3 kids, and house is easy work why don't we just switch places for half a day and see how he likes it. Well he is running around all frazzled trying to do everything, the house is beyond messy, kids are not really listening to him because he is not doing everything the way I do it, and I am asking where stuff constantly like he does to me...
As bad as it sounds I'm glad he is struggling :)

Yeah dh never has a problem when he watches the kids. They actually act better for him so he gets more done. He acts like I do nothing because of it.

I cant say the same. My husband has always came home and helped me, but he never fully grasp the concept how much I do. Especially considering I tutor kids and I'm working on my masters degree on top of running the house :)

I know right.. I wish I would of done this along time ago... He I think he now gets why I said 3 kids are the limit.. I think the best part was him trying to help my daughter put her dressup tights on and then trying to make her fingernails "pretty" my daughter said next time she will do them because daddy got them all over her fingers :)

That literally made me 'LoL'

Hahahah I'd give him a 'workers evaluation' and tell him his finger nail art is not up to par...shame on you daddy.

Oh how I wish I could get DF to do a day swap with me, he assumes I have it easy cos I 'dont work'. Well 'scuse me buddy, I DO work! My job is 24/7, I don't get paid, I don't get holidays, breaks or sick leave, I have two very demanding bosses... Infact the only upside to my job is that my co-worker (when hes there) is hot :-D
Seriously though, don't assume I don't do anything all day just because the house is a tip, the kids seem to like every toy out all in one go, regardless of how many times I pick them up, and the stack of empty pots by the sink is because (believe it or not) the kids do need feeding every now and again!

Wow sorry, that ended up being a bit of a rant there... :-D

Anyway, enjoy watching your SO trying to be you for the day, I bet hes knackered by the end :-) x

I guess mommas are built for multi-tasking where the dads are not. DH can't even watch TV and hold a conversation. Drives me crazy!

Haha there is nothing wrong with enjoying it!! I don't think they really get how much we do at home until they get to experience it for themselves. :)

Yeah. He told me he still wants to stay home with the kids, but he thinks that we'd have to hire a part time house cleaner because he is exhausted after doing everything lol
