okay, so a few days ago i saw this on pinterest
DIY-toy-boxes-you-can-roll-around.jpg
I needed to make one for the kids.
Well, the place she linked to for the crates- was sold out,
and no one around here- sold any in this size i wanted.

Sooo...yesterday we went to my parents
and made our own crate.
(had to have my dad's help since i'm a few weeks PP from a c-sec)

Anyways, now i'm stuck on a part.
To make the cushion top,
i need this foam

But everywhere i look- it's so expensive cos it's sold in bulk.

My question is,
what would you use instead?
It was suggested i use pre made pillows and just cover that-- but i don't want it lumpy.
Sooo ideas?

Can you buy a memory foam topper for a mattress?

I'm making something similar from a piano bench and using 2 layers of firm quilt batting. You could also use a piece of egg foam or two, just be sure the bumpy side is face down.

Is JoAnn's in bulk? I saw something similar there the other day and they may cut to size for you.

Really? I got mine from target for my bed and it was like 29 bucks for a queen size.

It's probably not real memory foam. Just a thick foam top because my mattress sucks

No clue. I know you can usually get rolls of it at Wal-Mart in the bedding section.

Yeah call the store or if you have any other craft/fabric store around.

Could check stores like TJ Maxx or Ross for twin size foam mattress pads. They are usually cheap there if you can't get it from a craft store.
