Pneumonia, in case you were curious.

Yes, antibiotics (if it's bacterial) and possibly nebulizer treatments. Hope she feels better soon!

pneumonia???
I had pneumonia as a preteen and I honeestly cannot recall what they did for me. I know I had some nasty syrup to drink, but that's all I recall. They might just have you really monitor her breathing and congestion. idk. good luck.

Pneumonia is treated with antibiotics, yes. The trouble with that is if it's viral it won't do much. You'll probably also have to give her an inhaler.

Did they check your baby's O2 sats in the doctor's office? Does she have a fever?

I once thought I had cancer and was going to die.

OP my son and DH had it. We ended up going to the ER because with my son the onset was fast. He had a cough a couple of day, then the afternoon a low grade fever and by that night it was a high fever and respiration was down. So I took him and of course he had it. They gave him a steriod shot to help clear it up faster and an antibiotic shot, then we got a script of antibiotics that he took for the rest of the week. The fever was gone by the next day and his cough was better with in a week. Hang in there. It's not that bad these days.

His respirations were down? You mean his O2 sats? Typically with an infection, respirations increase.
