I already had my pp period help? Little Richard's mommie! Due July 12; 1 child; Seneca, South Carolina 4293 posts

Ok so some of this might be tmi so if it is sorry. I will be 6 weeks pp on Tuesday (gosh I can't believe it's already almost 6 weeks!). I had my 1st post partum period at almost 5 weeks pp I believe. And I did a very stupid thing...I didn't wait 6 weeks like I should have I barely waited 3 since SO was groaning about waiting so long. (please no harassment about it) but well I thought he wore protection but lone behold nope. He said he didn't because of the fact that I am allergic to latex. I never have been able to tell the difference. He didn't ejaculate inside *thank god!* Well almost 2 weeks later I started having what I think was my 1st pp period. I didn't bleed but for about 2 or 3 days and it wasn't super heavy either like my normal periods I had pre pregnancy. But now here I am almost 2 weeks later and I have been having some awful cramping :/....I know that having unprotected sex that there is a chance of getting pregnant. But with the info I gave how much does it sound like I could possibly be pregnant since I am cramping now close to 3 weeks later? Any advice would help. I am praying that I am not pregnant.! I am also ebf if that helps, and usually I start my periods within a few days of cramping and I have been wearing a pad just waiting for my period to start again but it hasn't. And yes I know I was a stupid person for having sex so soon, so you don't need to tell me that, I am just looking for advice!

That early, its kind of hard to distinguish if it was just left over blood from being pp or if it really was your first period. How long did you have pp bleeding? Was it brown or red colored blood with the recent bleeding?
Best thing you can do is take a test or have them test you at your pp check up. Cramping can be normal since your body is still trying to get itself back together, but who knows.

you're not stupid for having sex early things happen. Everyone does it. don't worry about that. the only way you can know for a fact is to test. having sex at all could lead to pregnancy as you know. So just wait like a week and test. If negative and your period hasn't shown take another test and if still negative talk to your OB. BFing can make your periods all out of whack as well.

It was bright red. I bled for like a week straight after I had Richard, and I am kind of embarrassed to ask them to check for that since I swore I wasn't having sex for a while lol. I will have to swallow my pride :/

You can't help needs mama! lol! :D when i had my oldest i waited 2 and a half weeks to have sex and didn't use protection or anything and now my oldest 2 are 10 months 6 days 27 minutes apart. WE WERE THE STUPID ONES! lol. no protection no pulling out nothing. I was dumb.

it's unlikely that you are due to pulling out and everything like that. But just to be safe just test. No harm in that. Good luck!

You can test yourself, that makes it easy :P
BFing can also cause weirdness with your cycle and such so I wouldn't freak too much before testing.

lol very true!! I just wonder if he's trying to get me pregnant again since he had mentioned having more kids a few days before. How did you do it, or handle them so close? If I am not i'll be thankful as can be but if I am i'll accept what is and deal with it and love both of them equally!

I was a single parent when I had my middle son. It was actually pretty easy just being me. My older 2 were pretty laid back. It was rough working full time from 2pm-3am M-Sat but I did it.

Well Kudos to you! I don't think I could have been able to handle having another one in 10 months if I was by myself so you have me there! Wow that is pretty amazing I just hope I am not right now, and that I won't be for at least a year lol
