It would easily take more than a day to DEEP clean my house ... it would take me that long to do the oven, clean out the cupboards, wash the curtains and blinds, do the windows, and wash down the gutters and awnings. I would say probably 3 for me to feel satisfied.

:( I put my son in daycare on Fridays so that I can do housework and shopping ... even though its my day off from work.

Actually I was 3 or 4 the first time but that's neither here nor there as you've missed my point entirely. As I said earlier, I personally wouldn't be away from my 4 month old for that long but I'm not this chick. She felt it was necessary for her own reasons and they are just as valid as anyone else's. I'm not trying to play captain save a hoe or anything, I just didn't understand the venom this girl was getting for letting her kid stay with grandma for a week. I'll bet grandma loved every second of it too!

Hey there is nothing wrong with that. Lots of parents do that and even though I work at a daycare I fully understand where the parent is coming from because I am a parent as well. I left my kids at daycare on Friday while I went home although I was actually vacuuming up water from our flooded basement but somethings just can't be done when children are around.
