Jambalaya so freaking easy.

1 lb of polish sausage (I use whatever) cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1/2 a lb of chicken cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 can of beed broth
1/3 cup of tomato paste
1 can of diced tomatoes (don't drained them)
1 tbs Parsley (dried flakes)
1 1/2 tps basil dried
1 1/2 tps Oregano dried
2 celery rivs shopped (we don't use it)
4 minced garlic
1 tps Cayenne pepper (I do 1/3 because its too spicy)
1/2 tps salt
1 lb of cooked shrimp peeled, de tailed and deveined
2 cups of cooked rice

Add everything but the shrimp and rice stir and cook for 6-7 hrs or until chicken is no longer pink. Stir in shrimp and rice cover and cook for 15 minutes or until heated through.

It taste better if you don't add the rice until you serve it.

yummy creamy chicken,

cubed chicken breasts (4-6 min) a pat of butter and 1 packet of zesty italian dressing mix, 2 if you do a large batch of chicken.
cook on low for 5-6 hours

when chicken is cooke through, add 1 brick of cream cheese and a pack of mushrooms, a handful or two of frozen peas (or your fave veggies) and a splash or two of chicken or veggie broth (i use veggie broth)

stirring ever 5 mins or so

take the remainder of the veggie broth (I buy it by the box) and make a large batch of minute rice seasoned w/ garlic powder, dried parsley and other herbs. I do this because my son will not eat vegetables, but loves the rice cooked w/veggie broth.

when the cream cheese has melted into a sauce and the rice is fluffy, dinner is done.
it takes almost no effort and everyone in my house loves it.
